Scottoiler vSystem Chain Lubricator
The Scottoiler vSystem is the latest edition of the market-leading range of vacuum-operated Scottoiler chain lubrication systems. The kit gives a range of approximately 400 - 800 miles between refills of the RMV (Reservoir Metering Valve), depending on the flow setting. The kit has a range of fittings suitable for most bikes, (non standard adapters are available FOC from Scottoiler), and includes a 250ml bottle of Scottoil, which should be enough for approximately 2500 miles of lubrication.

The Mark7 Universal kit gives a range of approximately 400 - 800 miles between refills of the RMV (Reservoir Metering Valve), depending on the flow setting. This system has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the new BMW models; easy installation, access and adjustment being the key development considerations. Bearing in mind the aesthetics of the product the Scottoiler BMW kit has adopted a new image specifically designed to fit perfectly with the colour options available on both bike ranges.
The original idea for a Scottoiler system specifically designed for the new BMW range came about when Scottoiler and BMW UK met at the Dirt Bike Show in December 2007. It was subsequently arranged that a new F800GS would be delivered to our workshop in February 2008 so that we could let our technical and R&D people loose on it to develop a system specifically suited to the bikes. At the same time we contacted the UK BMW dealers to test their reaction to the new system, this was overwhelmingly positive!
The kit, once professionally installed, will be neat and will blend in with the overall look of the bike rather than appearing as an obvious add-on, whilst increasing chain life and reducing maintenance - a great bonus for people used to shaft drives!

The Scottoiler KTM kit is a brand specific, vacuum-operated automatic chain lubrication system. Easy installation, access and adjustment were key considerations during the design process. Special fittings for mounting the system to the entire KTM street range are included in the kit.
For sporty models like the 1190 RC8 the Scottoiler kit is the ideal way to maintain the superbike performance and get back some of the power that is lost through friction in the transmission. The continual lubrication of the chain reduces friction which can sap power.

The new manually operated system cleans and lubricates the chain thus significantly reducing the wear normally associated with off road riding. The main difference between the CR-01 Off Road system and others in the Scottoiler range is the introduction of the new "C-Reservoir" and "Squid" handlebar grips. These allow the system to be operated manually with no need to tap into a vacuum connection.
