This weatherproof accessory female socket is designed to be panel-mounted on a vehicle to provide an external charging point and power outlet socket. It is the same type as is used on some Triumph, BMW and Honda motorcycles. In addition to providing a weatherproof connection point for your Accumate or Optimate charger (using the optional accessory plug lead TM72) it also provides a power outlet socket for other accessories - e.g. mobile phones, tyre pumps, portable CD players, notebook PCs, GPS navigation units, camping lights, etc. It is of particular use for scooters with sealed battery compartments and any other vehicles where use of the standard fused permanent lead is not practical.

Simple trickle charger suitable for 6V and 12V batteries (switchable on underside of charger) with a low output of 300mA. Supplied with two sets of leads. One set has crocodile clips for clamping directly on to battery terminals. The other set works as a flylead connector with eyelets that can be permanently attached to the bike's battery.
